The best IPTV apps for Fire TV Stick
Five apps from our setup guides work on a Fire TV Stick with a Streamori login: TiviMate, IPTV Smarters Pro, IBO Player, Smart IPTV and Kodi. We recommend TiviMate, because it was made for TV remotes and loads the channels and the TV guide from a single Xtream Codes login.
The other four are good choices in specific cases, and some of them charge their own licence after a trial. Here is how they compare.

Why we recommend TiviMate
TiviMate is built for the remote control in your hand. Menus are large, the channel list scrolls quickly, and the electronic program guide (EPG) shows what is on now and next. You type your login once, in the Xtream Codes format, and the app loads the channels and the guide by itself.
It is not designed for phones or tablets. If you also want to watch on a phone, install IPTV Smarters Pro there with the same login.
How to install TiviMate on a Fire TV Stick
TiviMate is installed with the Downloader app, which you find in the Fire TV app store.
- On the Fire TV home screen, open Find › Search, install the Downloader app and open it once.
- Allow it to install apps: Settings › My Fire TV › Developer options › Install unknown apps, then turn Downloader on.
- In Downloader, enter 272483 and select Go. When the download ends, select Install, then Open.
- Open TiviMate, select Add playlist and choose Xtream Codes.
- Enter the server URL from your welcome email exactly as written, including http:// and the port number, then select Next.
- Enter your username and password, then select Next.
- Name the playlist Streamori and select Done. Channels and the TV guide load in a minute or two.
When another app is a better fit
IPTV Smarters Pro suits you if you want live TV, movies and series behind one simple menu, or if you watch on a Fire TV Stick and an iPhone or an Android phone and want the same app on both. It also uses an Xtream Codes login.
IBO Player and Smart IPTV make sense if you already use one of them on a Samsung or LG TV and want the same app in every room. Both ask for the MAC address shown on screen, and you add your M3U link on the developer’s website. Both charge a licence after their trial; that fee goes to the app developer, not to Streamori.
Kodi is a fit if you already use it for other things. It reads your M3U link through the PVR IPTV Simple Client add-on, and your channels appear under TV.
Install the official app
App stores list lookalike apps with similar names and icons. Before you install, check the developer’s name. We don’t make or sell any of these apps. Independent developers do, and they change their look from time to time. Menu names usually stay the same, so follow the words rather than the pictures.
Frequently asked questions
Why does the app ask me to pay?
Some apps, such as IBO Player and Smart IPTV, charge their own licence after a free trial. That fee goes to the app developer, not to Streamori. TiviMate, IPTV Smarters Pro and Kodi can be used without paying the developer.
My channels do not load. What should I check?
Check that the server URL is typed exactly as in your email, including http:// and the port number, then restart the app. If it still does not work, message us on WhatsApp: we fix most setups in a few minutes.
Which login format should I pick in the app?
